Tai Chi is a graceful form of movements performed in a slow, focused manner while combined with controlled breathing. This low impact exercise puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it suitable for many older adults.

Join our knowledgeable staff at the Walnut Creek YMCA as they lead you through Tai Chi forms designed to improve your strength and balance while reducing the likelihood of a fall. Classes are free to YMCA members, and scholarships are available for cancer survivors through the YMCA or Above + Beyond Cancer.
