The Above+Beyond Cancer Optimal Living program is open weekly to cancer survivors, caregivers and anyone who has been touched by cancer.
Patients and physicians know that strengthening one’s mind, body and spirit plays an essential role in cancer treatment. Our survivorship program offers a wide variety of evidence based programs. The programs are led by medical staff and certified instructors, and they include indoor cycling, yoga, small group personal training, individual coaching, water-therapy and mindful meditation.
All cancer programs and classes are free to YMCA members. Cancer patients and survivors may sign up for a 12-week YMCA scholarship at either the Wellmark YMCA in downtown Des Moines, or through Above + Beyond Cancer. For more information, contact Renee at 515-512-9225 or email email@example.com. Medical referrals can be faxed to 515-512-9186.
