The Above+Beyond Cancer Optimal Living program is open weekly to cancer survivors, caregivers and anyone who has been touched by cancer.
Patients and physicians know that strengthening one’s mind, body and spirit plays an essential role in cancer treatment. Our survivorship program offers a wide variety of evidence based programs. The programs are led by medical staff and certified instructors, and they include indoor cycling, yoga, small group personal training, individual coaching, walking, and meditation.
All cancer programs and classes are free to YMCA members. Cancer patients and survivors may receive a 12-week YMCA scholarship or MercyOne Health and Fitness Scholarship after a Doctor referral. For more information, call 515-669-9879 or email mary@aboveandbeyondcancer.org. Medical referrals can be faxed to 515-635-1286
