Today we celebrate Above + Beyond Cancer Founders Day! Nine years ago today, on April 7, 2011, a group of 30 people left Des Moines for Nepal. This team was led by Dr. Richard Deming, a Des Moines Oncologist. Today, the organization is proud to say that those original 30 team members have blossomed into hundreds of cancer survivors and caregivers who call Above + Beyond Cancer their charity of choice.
