“I signed up for the journey, knowing I would enjoy the adventure and get to spend time with a dear friend who was also on the trip. I did not fully anticipate how my inner life would transform from this experience. The supportive and compassionate atmosphere created by the team members and survivors helped me process emotions that had not yet found a home after my cancer diagnosis and then my husband’s illness. I am forever grateful to Above and Beyond Cancer for the opportunity to share my journey with the remarkable people on this transformational trip. ”
