Everest Base Camp.
In April of 2011 Des Moines Oncologist Dr. Richard Deming took a team of cancer survivors and caregivers on a journey to Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal. This adventure was intended to be a one-time thing, and was the catalyst for what would become Above + Beyond Cancer.
